For me, German Sausage Salad is a versatile dish. It's a perfect dinner, an ideal alternative to ham, cheese, or spread. I also imagine it would make an excellent breakfast if you like savoury breakfasts. Its adaptability makes it a dish worth trying in different ways.

Instructions
Boil the egg and cut it into stripes.
Cut Fleischwurst (Bologna Sausage) and pickled cucumber into this stripes.
Prepare the dressing by mixing together mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, horseradish, sugar and salt.
Mix all salad ingredients right before serving, otherwise the pickled cucumber will lose water and the consistency will change.
