EQUIPMENT
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp rum
- 4 medium or large apples
- 50 g marzipan
- 1 tbsp butter room temperature
- 7 g vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 2 tbsp almonds
- 1 tsp starch
- vanilla sauce
- butter for greasing the baking dish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take a small mixing bowl and add the raisins to it. Cover them with rum and let them rest for at least 1 hour.
- Take butter out of the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 180° C (356° Fahrenheit).
- Wash and tap dry the apples. Cut off 2 cm from the top. Set it aside.
- With a small knife or a teaspoon remove the seeds and not edible parts from the apples.
- Grate marzipan into a small mixing bowl. Add butter and mix it with a hand mixer. Add the raisins with the rum.
- Grease the baking dish.
- Place the apples into the baking dish and fill them with the Marzipan filling. I am using a teaspoon and a finger for that. Next to them place the top parts that you cut off at the beginning.
- Bake the apples for 20 minutes. Serve with the top parts at the top with vanilla sauce on the side.
