Shakshuka

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tomato or 6 tomatos
  • 3 onions chopped 1cm x 1cm pices
  • 3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 paprika red, chopped into cubes
  • 4-8 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0,5 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Fry onion on the medium heat until tender.
  • Add sliced garlic, stir the mixture for 2 minutes and add peppers. It should take around 10 minutes for peppers to be tender.
  • Add tomatos and spices (salt and cumin) and cooked on low heat, covered with a lid for at least 30 minutes
  • Make small wholes in the sauce and beat in eggs.
  • Season with pepper and salt. Close the lid and wait until the eggs is done. If you like soft eggs cook it for 4minutes, if hard 10minutes.
