Traditional dish from Cologne - Himmel und Äd

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 30 ml milk
  • 3 onions sliced
  • 2 slices black pudding
  • 4 tbsp apple sauce

Instructions

  • Cooked potatoes until done. Make purée by adding milk and butter to them and mash all ingredients.
  • Fry onion on medium heat with a little butter and salt.
  • Remove onion from the pan and heat up black pudding. Try it just 1 minutes on the each side so it doesn't decompose.
  • Serve with apple sauce on the side.
